I think that the Founders Ward Elders Quorum is the best quorum I have ever been in. Everyone is really excited to be a part of it. The lessons always have a lot of interaction. It's great to be a part of this quorum.

Today when we got home from church Julia put a pajama shirt on. Then she said to me, "Dad, I have to take my skirt off now, because people will think I'm a jama-pickin' girl. That would be so embarrassing." I used to love the fact that she didn't care about her hair and how it looked. Now she doesn't want to be associated with kids that select pajamas as their primary articles of clothing.

I must agree that the Founders Ward EQ is pretty awesome. I like their forward thinking in allowing girls to come to class and voice their opinions. I found Emma's particularly insightful, "I've wet myself because I'm so tired, now take me out of this man-filled room." It probably just sounded like random screaming to everyone else, but I can read between the lines.

Glad to have you back online, McRy-guy.

I know it is hard to have your babes grow up, sorry if Im not as sympathetic as you need. See I go through these epiphanies about 6 months before you and am over them by the time they hit you. Julies is stylin!

Ryan,

This is the voice in the back of your head telling you it is time to post on your blog again. Some people - very white, very handsome people - got all excited by your "Brian's Back!" post like two weeks ago and die a little bit each time they check and it hasn't been updated.

Do it for Johnny Carson's ghost and Alfonso Ribiero's break-dancing mat and Sinbad's mustard colored parachute pants. Do it for America.

Do it for the children.

Yeah Ryan, the voice in your head is right. I wanted to say something, but couldn't because I am a yellow-bellied, lily-livered coward, but now that someone else has said something, I must jump my white, handsome behind on the tailgate of this here bandwagon and say, "Ryan... what he said... your inner monologue, that is. I also feel that same way. Also, I think 'chorizo' is Mexican for 'delicious.' But I'm not sure."
