In the old days, coal miners would bring a bird with them on their excavation trips. The bird let them know if the air was safe. If the bird died, they knew the air was unsafe. They don't do that anymore. At least, not with real birds. They now use big red robot birds with poison sensors. If the air is poisonous, their laser eyes illuminate a deep, Sinclair-logo green.
